I have since plunked down a significant pile more dough to buy a charting and signal app from the app store, but still for some people this basic portfolio tracker will suffice. I wanted something that would plot my portfolio value with time. __________ Its a basic portfolio tracker, would like to see it keep track of trading fees as well, but it is much cheaper then other portfolio trackers without the bloat. Would also like to see the app to have an alarm function.

Dont do it. They will not respond to any e-mails nor will it do what it is supposed....Jordan

I only trade penny stocks, and I thought this would be a good way to keep an eye on them, but it doesnt even recognize their symbols. So the app is useless to me. Hopefully that function will be added soon.

I dont understand the negative reviews here. I went through several software packages to find one that does what this does in a straightforward manner. All of my stock symbols worked fine, which wasnt the case with other apps I tried. The interface is simple and the feature set is just right for an app that should give me an at-a-glance update of where things stand.

This app works very well for tracking multiple portfolios of STOCKS. But you cannot add items that do not have a Yahoo Finance stock symbol such as US Treasury bonds. You cannot even add an entry for just cash that real portfolios contain. It does support mutual funds since these do have a stock symbol. Other improvements would include portfolio columns for % of Assets and Total Cost Basis rather than simply the price paid per share. Its a helpful little app that does 80% of what I want for 20% of the cost of most others.

Developer completely unresponsive after email contact. App cant retrieve the Dow, so its not of much value. Recommend skipping this one, for now.

When I sell a stock I no longer want to see it on the lists, but there is no delete or edit feature to adjust the portfolios.

I invest primarily in stocks in the major indexes and didnt come across any that this app didnt cover. I also wanted to add currencies but was concerned Id have to enter a bunch of cryptic symbols perfectly for that to work. I didnt have to. All you have to do is pull the currency from a drop down list in alphabetical order by name, i.e. "Japanese Yen". I wish there was an option to have the ticker take up more of the free menu bar and also for an option to have a faster scroll speed. It scrolls pretty much at tortoise pace even though the tortoise may be buzzing on some caffeine.

Only does one thing. And nothing else. You have to enter every purchase or sale manually. So if you have more than 3 stocks, save your money and your time. I wrote the developer because I had some questions about the application and received no response. Like cramer says: dont buy, dont buy.

Overall the app provides everything I needed and at a good price. The only issue I noticed that bugged me a bit is that the chart does not have the option to move independent of the main window. It would be nice to have the chart in a separate window with the ability to resize if you wanted to.
